“Wonderful place, gracious hosts.”

The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything one could need. On arrival the hosts presented us with a magnificent food hamper and because it was Christmas they had also provided a Christmas Tree and decorations, it made us feel very much at home. Claire and her family went out of their way to make us feel welcome and I would definitely recommend this beautiful place to stay.

“Absolutely fabulous”

If you like Georgian elegance this is the place for you! Our family of four with two grown up children stayed here for three nights in August. The property is newly renovated with a new kitchen extension to the rear opening onto a sun terrace through French doors. The kitchen is tremendously bright, airy and modern yet with Georgian charm of the rest of the house. We tend to cook in a good deal when on holiday and the kitchen is very well equipped for this. The rest of the house is very spacious and our adult children loved having their own large bedrooms and space. The tall ceilings and large hall created real atmosphere with the living room looking out to the street which I enjoyed watching people walking in the evening. Wifi is plentiful and really works!, not like most places which promises wifi and is useless when you get there, and this was great as everyone wants to keep in touch went on holiday.
Paddy and Josie the owners are great hosts and you must stay here if you are looking for somewhere really charming.

“Elegantly beautiful, spacious, clean, exceedingly comfortable, conveniently located.”

The house has recently been renovated to a very high standard and provided a perfect base for the three generations of our family staying there (grandparents, parents and children). We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed at the premises by the owners who had provided a few supplies to see us in (milk, tea, coffee, fruits, etc. even chocolates and a bottle of wine!) together with a welcome pack with local weather forecast and details of local attractions.

The house was very homely and exceedingly comfortable. It included just about everything that one would want, was spotlessly clean, luxuriously furnished in period style and beds were very comfortable. At the same time, the house was large enough to accommodate all six of us and allow us to occupy individual spaces (e.g. children watch kids TV, parents chat in dining area of kitchen, grandparents sit in a bedroom reading) when it was wished. We were blessed with excellent weather, but had one stayed in, the house would have provided a most comfortable environment.

Enniskillen is a very attractive small town. The house is located just ten minutes’ walk from the town centre, including the main shopping street and antiquities (castle, museum, etc.). A filling station with a small but well-provisioned supermarket lies around a quarter of a mile away in the other direction, also in easy walking distance.

The yard behind the house included a gas barbeque (not used) and outside table and chairs.

We were in the area in order to attend a wedding and had opportunity to view and compare our accommodation with that provided in chalets at one of the major resorts in the area. Both we and those staying at the resort scored the house much more highly, yet it worked out at the same price per person for a one week stay.

We would highly recommend the accommodation and certainly return there ourselves if in the area.
